What a night! The Burley Players wowed us once again on Saturday with a sensational performance of our Murder Mystery “Ring Out Your Dead!”. Another sell-out show, paired with delicious food from our chef Reg, made for an unforgettable evening of fun, laughter, and intrigue. And a big thank you to all the volunteers who worked so hard to make it such a brilliant night! Congratulations to our clever winners who cracked the case and took home some egg-cellent Easter treats! 🥚✨ A huge thank you to Pam Brown for capturing the magic of the night with these fantastic photos. If you missed out this year, don’t worry—don't forget to grab your tickets early next time. You won’t want to miss it!

Well another amazing Book Sale and Craft Fayre here at Greyfriars! The biggest thank you to our fantastic team of volunteers who have prepared for the sale for weeks by sorting all the books and puzzles that have been kindly donated and organising crafters but also to you all for coming along to support the day! We simply could not manage without you all. Greyfriars is a local charity and these events help so much. Today’s sale made over £1600 for the centre and over £1330 was taken on books alone! Absolutely incredible! A massive thank you too, to Nigel Revell, #thelonerevellerwho kept us entertained with great music all morning! See if you can see yourself in the pictures below, taken by our volunteer photographer Pam Brown, thank you Pam!

Ian Lowes explores the rich variety of choral music created over the centuries. Including Handel, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Britten and others, he examines that repertoire within a historical context. 10-week course starting April 28th 10am till 12pm running till July 7th. Full course is £90 Excluding 19th May Tickets are available at the centre or via Ticket source https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/greyfriars

Join us on Saturday, April 12th, and let our skilled volunteers work their magic. We’ll do our best to fix it, and you might just pick up a new skill or two! Let’s keep Ringwood green and fix things together! 🛠️

We are also hugely grateful to Ringwood Old People’s Welfare, the T H Russell Trust and the Friends of Greyfriars for their support in helping us make the vision of a new minibus a reality. If you would like to know more about the service, please just call the office or visit the website for more details. Our minibuses driven by our volunteer drivers come to your door to collect you and drop you off at the back of Sainsburys to do your shopping. The drivers are supported by Passenger Assistants who help the elderly on and off the bus and into Sainsburys. If you would like to combine your trip with a coffee, many of the groups will pop into the Meeting House before they are taken home, and the outing becomes a real social occasion too. We have called it “Lily” after the generous lady who kindly left us a large legacy which enabled us to progress the order. We are also hugely grateful to Ringwood Old People’s Welfare, the T H Russell Trust and the Friends of Greyfriars for their support in helping us make the vision of a new minibus a reality. Our minibuses driven by our volunteer drivers come to your door to collect you and drop you off at the back of Sainsburys to do your shopping. The drivers are supported by Passenger Assistants who help the elderly on and off the bus and into Sainsburys. If you would like to combine your trip with a coffee, many of the groups will pop into the Meeting House before they are taken home, and the outing becomes a real social occasion too.
