We are so excited to let you all know that the new minibus has arrived!
We have called it “Lily” after the generous lady who kindly left us a large legacy which enabled us to progress the order. We are also hugely grateful to Ringwood Old People’s Welfare, the T H Russell Trust and the Friends of Greyfriars for their support in helping us make the vision of a new minibus a reality.
If you would like to know more about the service, please just call the office or visit the website for more details. Our minibuses driven by our volunteer drivers come to your door to collect you and drop you off at the back of Sainsburys to do your shopping. The drivers are supported by Passenger Assistants who help the elderly on and off the bus and into Sainsburys.
If you would like to combine your trip with a coffee, many of the groups will pop into the Meeting House before they are taken home and the outing becomes a real social occasion too.
If you would like to help at all, we do need more passenger assistants and would very much like to hear from you!
