GREYFRIARS STUDY GROUP! English Medieval History. We welcome back Nick Griffiths for a 7 week course covering the history of England from King Alfred to Henry VII, i.e. the late Saxons to the beginning of the Tudors. The course will follow the history but will examine everyday life as seen through archaeology and manuscripts. 7 weeks - starting Friday 30 May 10 - 12 am £60 for full course Visit https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/greyfriars/t-eannmyj for tickets or ask at centre reception Also... Ian Lowes explores the rich variety of choral music created over the centuries. Including Handel, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Britten and others, he examines that repertoire within an historical context. 10 week course starting April 28th 10am till 12pm running till July 7th.
