This branch was established soon after the formation of The Fly Dressers' Guild and has held regular meetings ever since its foundation in 1968 and has continued to attract a loyal following, with a current membership of around 50.
They meet weekly between September and April. We offer a structured course of instruction through 3 groups: Beginners, Improvers 1 and Improvers 2 after which several options are open for members to pursue their own particular interest. Opportunity is also given for members to take part in the Guild's awards programme.
The evenings are informal affairs lasting around an hour and a half with refreshments being served during the meeting.
