Hobbies & General Interests

We are a friendly group of mainly, but not solely, women who are interested in developing our skills in making textiles through the use of natural fibres and the traditional skills of spinning, weaving, dyeing and felting. We can lend equipment and you will find that there is always someone willing to show you how it works and to help sort out problems.

Visitors and long term members are always welcome. We meet every Wednesday (Except August) Weavers 10.00am — 4.00pm in room 2. Spinners 09.00 — 12.00pm noon in the Hilary Christy Room.
